Australian Camp hike & Campfire 

We will begin our journey with a drive to Kande, which takes about an hour from Pokhara. From Kande, we will start our hike up to Australian Camp, which takes approximately one hour. This destination is perfect for a day hike or overnight stay, offering spectacular views of the Himalayas, including both sunrise and sunset. In the evening, we’ll gather around a campfire, enjoying music and local drinks such as Raksi (a traditional Nepali wine) for a fun and memorable experience. From Australian Camp, you can enjoy panoramic views of majestic Himalayan peaks such as: Annapurna South (7,219 m) Annapurna III, IV, II ,Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) (6,993 m) Hiuchuli (6,441 m) Lamjung Himal (6,983 m) Manaslu (8,163 m) And many other breathtaking mountain vistas. At night, you can also enjoy the twinkling lights of Pokhara Valley far below—a truly magical sight. The next day, we will hike downhill through a peaceful forest, eventually reaching Dhampus, a beautiful Gurung village located in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in north-central Nepal. Dhampus is primarily inhabited by the Gurung community, known for their warm hospitality, rich traditions, and contribution to the Gurkha regiments. Visitors can experience authentic village life, taste local cuisine, and observe traditional farming practices.

Dhampus is ideal for travelers who want to experience the beauty of the Annapurna region but have limited time. It offers incredible views of the Annapurna range and a chance to immerse yourself in local culture and rural mountain life.
