Gokyo Lake – Gokyo lake Trekking is one of the most beautiful yet often overlooked treasures of the Khumbu region, located in a hidden valley near the Everest trail. This trek is renowned for its stunning panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and other majestic Himalayan peaks, offering an adventurous alternative to the classic Everest Base Camp route. One of the major highlights of the trek is Gokyo Ri (5,357 m), known as the highest hilltop viewpoint in the world.
From its summit, trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking views of several 8,000-meter peaks, including,Mt. Everest (8,848.86 m) Mt. Lhotse (8,201 m) Mt. Makalu (8,463 m) Mt. Cho Oyu (8,188 m) The Gokyo Lake Trek provides a less crowded but equally scenic alternative to the main Everest Base Camp trail. It allows trekkers to enjoy the serene beauty of the Gokyo Valley, the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, and a more peaceful Himalayan experience. The trek passes through vibrant Sherpa villages such as: Phakding, , Monjo, Namche Bazaar, Khumjung ,Phortse Tenga, Dole, Machhermo, Gokyo and continue back same way to Lukla
These villages not only offer accommodation and local hospitality but also give insight into the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Sherpa people. Along the way, you’ll encounter ancient monasteries, glacial valleys, suspension bridges, and lush rhododendron forests, making this journey both spiritual and scenic. From Gokyo Ri, you can enjoy the contrast of deep greenish-blue lakes on one side, the Remo Pokhari on the other, and towering snow-capped peaks surrounding you. The Gokyo region truly offers one of the most photogenic and peaceful trekking routes in Nepal.

Day 2 – After breakfast, sightseeing old heritage site in Kathmandu valley Overnight stay in hotel. (B/B)
Day 3 – An early morning Flight to lukla(2840m) from Kathmandu around 30 minutes. Trek to Phakding (2610m) Walking 4.5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 4 – Trek to Namche bazaar (3440m) walking 5 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 5 – Acclimatization trek to Everest Hotel & explore Sherpa village at Namche bazaar, walking 4/5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 6 – Trek to Dhole(4083m) walking 5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 7 – Trek to Machherma(4410m) Walking 4 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 8 – Trek to Goky0(4720m) walking 5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 9 – Early morning hike Gokyo Ri (5357m) Trek back to Dhole(411m) walking 5 hours Overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 10 -Trek back to Manju (2835m) walking 5.5 hours overnight stay in lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 11 – Trek back to Lukla(2840m) walking 4.5 hours Overnight stay at Lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 12 – An early morning Fight back to Kathmandu from lukla around 30 minute Overnight stay in Hotel. (B/B)
Day 13 – After breakfast, our guide will drop to you at international airport for departure from Nepal.
