Volunteer Everest Trekking in Nepal
Volunteer Everest Trekking in Nepal is a unique combination of trekking adventure and meaningful social contribution. Many rural communities are still recovering from the devastating 2015 earthquake, especially in rebuilding homes, health centers, and schools. Through this program, you will not only enjoy the natural beauty of Nepal but also make a positive impact by volunteering your time and skills.
During your volunteering journey, you will gain first-hand experience of the Nepali lifestyle. Nepal Guide Subas Magar, He will arrange your accommodation and manage the logistics for your volunteer work in the Lower Everest region. Your trip begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pattale Village (2,840m), a remote area blessed with stunning mountain views.
From Pattale, you can enjoy breathtaking sights of several Himalayan giants, including Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), Makalu (8,463m), Kanchenjunga (8,586m), as well as Thamserku, Taboche, Cholatse, Pumori, and Khumbila Peak.Your volunteer work may involve helping to rebuild houses and schools, teaching students about health, agriculture, and environmental awareness, and participating in women’s health education programs. You’ll engage directly with the local community, offering not just support but also smiles and hope to those still struggling after the earthquake.Students especially enjoy their interactions with international volunteers, finding inspiration and knowledge in these exchanges. The length of your volunteering stay depends entirely on your interest and how much you enjoy the experience.
After completing your volunteer work, you can choose to continue your adventure with a trek to either Pikey Peak or Everest Base Camp—both offering spectacular Himalayan experiences to round out your journey.
HELP – Himalayan Everest Lower Project is actively supporting local initiatives, such as providing books, pens, and pencils to the Tuhure Village School.
Nepal Guide Subas Magar assures you that all trekking routes are safe and fully equipped with accommodation facilities. We have already led treks in regions previously affected by the earthquake—such as Manaslu, Langtang, and the Ganesh Himal—and can confidently confirm that these areas are now safe and fully re-established for trekking.
